Who is Tinkerbell anyway?

Tinkerbell is a well known and well loved fairy.  She is the fairy in the story of Peter Pan.  She is Peter’s best friend and is very playful and at times she is a little bit naughty.  She lives with Peter and the lost boys in Netherland and she has loads of fun there and gets in a little bit of trouble with some of the other islands inhabitants, pirates, indians and mermaids. Tinkerbell gets a little bit jealous of a new visitor to Netherland, Wendy and her two brothers John and Michael.
